What We Do

ADAPT’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is designed for people who are ready to return to work, school or other responsibilities. You will spend 10 hours each week in the program with a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. Our Supportive Outpatient Program (SOP) is designed for people that have already returned to work, school or other responsibilities. You will spend 4 hours each week in the program with a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. We offer these programs through our network of convenient locations. Schedules vary from location to location with day and evening times available. Both our Intensive and Supportive outpatient programs utilize only proven clinical treatment methods to help you make positive changes in your life. You will participate in the following treatment activities:

• Group counseling
• Individual counseling
• Family group
• Spirituality awareness
• Relapse prevention training
• 12-Step Orientation and Support
• 12-Step Meetings (off-site)
• Educational classes

We are contracted with a number of state, local and managed care organizations, including most Medicaid plans. Please contact us so we can identify how we can best help you or your referral.

STATE MANDATED EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

ADAPT Programs also provides a number of state-mandated educational classes. Some classes must be completed in order to maintain your driver’s license or other legal issue resolved and returned.

Our Battering Intervention Prevention Program (BIPP) is now fully accredited by TDCJ/CJAD. The groups are intense in nature and can be confrontational at times. The entire treatment process lasts 36 weeks. Groups are two hours in length and are held once per week for 18 weeks.
